The Fenestration of Suburbia (18:00, 2019) is a melancholic social documentation of a cold Canadian suburb. Framed behind windows and filmed from the street, the banal lives of suburbanites float in the black cinematic frame to form images and sounds that are simultaneously sorrowful, mundane, theatrical, and puzzling.
